Without proper treatment, birch wood can warp, crack, and deteriorate when exposed to the elements. Additionally, birch wood is susceptible to insect infestations, so it is important to regularly inspect and maintain outdoor birch wood to ensure its longevity and durability. **

Outdoor cats may seek out warm places to shelter in sub-zero temperatures, such as under cars, in sheds, or under decks. They may also huddle together with other cats for warmth. Their fur will thicken to provide better insulation, and they may become less active in order to conserve energy. Some outdoor cats may also develop frostbite on their ears, paws, or tails in extreme cold, so it's important to provide them with access to warm shelter and fresh water. **
